Ace, played by the impeccable Jim Carrey, takes his job as an animal detective very seriously. He retrieves lost pets and investigates animal crimes with an unmatched fervor that makes him one of a kind. The 1995 classic “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls” has become a household name since its release over two decades ago. Ernest Hemingway would have been impressed.
The film follows Ace as he travels to Africa to find the albino bat from ‘Shikaka,’ a valuable tribe’s mascot that was stolen. He faces challenges aplenty – dangerous animals, corrupt tribal leaders and even an unlikely romance with the fabulous naturalist, Fulton Greenwall (Ian McNeice). However, Ace perseveres through it all with his signature wit and unparalleled physical comedy.
